Electronic Visa Application System
From June 1, 2016, a new portal for issuing electronic visas “e-Visa” (https://www.evisa.tj) was launched, which allows foreign citizens wishing to enter the country on a tourist or business visa to fill out an electronic application and receive an electronic visa without visiting representatives of the Tajik consulate abroad.
The electronic visa system "e-Visa" allows foreign citizens to obtain a visa to Tajikistan online, eliminating the need to stand in lines at Tajik consulates or at the border. The new system is designed to facilitate the process of obtaining a visa to Tajikistan for foreign citizens, increase the number of tourists visiting Tajikistan, and simplify visa procedures for businessmen.
You will receive e-visas via email after filling out the application form with the required information and completing the online payment via debit/credit card. Applicants are required to pay a fee internationally recognized electronic networks for electronic processing and in case of rejection of the application, the above amount will not be refunded to the applicant. After paying the visa fee and successfully submitting the application, the applicant will receive an e-visa, which must be presented when crossing the state border of Tajikistan along with a valid travel document.
The electronic visa of the Republic of Tajikistan is valid for 90 days, however, the visa holder can stay in the country for no more than 45 calendar days. The electronic visa is not extended and the visa holder must leave the country on the specified date.
